GENESIS ATHLETICS CLUB (GAC) is a community sporting club based in Kelowna, BC. It was founded as a way to encourage the youth of this area to pursue sport as a catalyst for positive life change. Together our coaches, athletes and parents are a helping influence in our Kelowna neighbourhood and beyond.
Who We Are:
Genesis Spike
Is a Roundnet / Spikeball club that runs throughout the spring and summer in Kelowna and seeks to provide a place for all players to participate in this exciting emerging sport! We were excited to play a big role in the first every Roundnet Canada Nations in 2023!
Genesis Volleyball
Club Volleyball - running December-May, teams compete in the Volleyball BC Club league as well as the Kelowna Superleague. Players coming through our system learn volleyball and life skills as they play in this team-oriented program!
Genesis Grass - runs from June-August and is a way for our junior and recreational players to grow as athletes and compete throughout the summer and take advantage of the Okanagan sun!
Genesis Beach runs from June-August and is a way for our senior competitive players to be able to grow as athletes and compete throughout the summer and take advantage of the Okanagan sun!
NextGen Training
is an intentional effort to bring high-performance volleyball training to athletes of all backgrounds in Kelowna BC. The program is the brain child of Genesis Athletics Club Director Jadon Ward, who got the idea while working with Team BC in their Regional Training Centre. NextGen Training centers around their “four pillars” philosophy – technical skills, mental fortitude & resilience, agility & strength training, and team play dynamics.
